Here’s a superb Strat – Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Roasted ’54 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in a very cool Desrt Sand finish. The Fender Custom Shop produced a limited run of these spectacular guitars to mark the 70th anniversary of the iconic Stratocaster. It has a resonant wo piece ash body, and a one-piece roasted quartersawn maple neck. The neck carve is a beautifully full feeling 70th-anniversary Soft “V” profile based on a historic Strat neck from July 1954. Three Custom Shop hand-wound ’54 Strat pickups provide the classic Stratocaster sound with trademark bell-like highs and Strat quack. Premium features include an eight-hole gold anodised pickguard, 1954-style ABS white pickup covers and control knobs, a Custom Shop vintage synchronised tremolo bridge and vintage-style tuners. Special anniversary features include a 70th Anniversary Stratocaster neck plate, a deluxe embroidered Custom Shop hardshell case.

This 2024 guitar is in A1 condition and includes its case candy and certificate of authenticity. The one mod is the first tone control has been upgraded to the Custom Shop Fat 50s Half Blend control which allows the neck pickup to be blended with the bridge pickup (in position 1) and with the bridge and neck pickup (in position 2) making this an exceptionally sonically versatile Strat (the original tone pot is included).
