Fidelity Stellarosa Standard Light Aged Sonic Blue

The Stellarosa Standard captures the essence of Fidelity’s flagship design in a slightly more streamlined form. Designed and built in the UK by Matt Oram, it retains the distinctive silhouette and player-focused philosophy of the Deluxe model, while embracing the elegant simplicity of a dual-pickup layout.

This example features a chambered roasted Canadian ash body finished in Sonic Blue with natural sides and light-to-medium ageing. Off-white CAB binding front and back and a split 1-ply pickguard give the guitar a crisp, classic contrast against the body colour — clean, confident and unmistakably Fidelity.

Like its Deluxe sibling, the Standard is built around resonance and clarity. The chambered ash body delivers lively acoustic response and depth, while two Mojo Pickups P90-sized Charlie Christian pickups provide articulate, dynamic tone with exceptional touch sensitivity. A single 3-way rotary switch expands the available combinations, offering greater tonal range than a traditional two-pickup setup without complicating the control layout. It’s versatile, but never fussy — exactly as intended.

The 1-piece wenge neck, finished in oil, feels immediately substantial and organic in the hand, with a vintage feel 41.7mm nut width. A medium-to-chunky “C” profile, 25″ scale length and compound 9.5″–14″ radius strike a balance between comfort and precision, while Jescar nickel-silver medium/jumbo frets ensure smooth bending and durability. The 2025 larger-outline headstock subtly reinforces the updated Stellarosa identity.

Hardware as you’d expect is top quality. Fidelity’s billet aluminium bridge with modified Gotoh brass saddles pairs with a through-strung brass ferrule block for strong fundamental attack and sustain. Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners and premium electronic components throughout reflect the same attention to detail found across the Fidelity range.

Supplied with a padded BOSS gig bag and strung with Stringjoy Signature 10–48s, the Stellarosa Standard delivers the unmistakable Fidelity feel and voice — focused, expressive and built with intent.
