I think this could be the best Strat I’ve ever played – but you have to like a fat neck and big frets, this thing is a handful! Fender position this model as delivering bold looks, feel and tone for the player that likes everything bigger and they’re not kidding. The chunky ’51 U profile neck combines with jumbo frets to give a beautifully full feel. The extra wood shows through in the unplugged tone and tuning stability too – the whole guitar feels a rock solid unit. I’ve always loved the sweet hotness of Ancho pickups and these Josefina Campos handwound versions are a real joy. The Journeyman Relic 2-tone Sunburst finish with black guard is a great look too. Condition is A1. Comes with the original hardcase and paperwork.
