Gibson Custom Shop SG Special ’63 Reissue 2021

Here’s a fantastic 2021 Custom Shop ’63 SG Special from Gibson’s M2M series. The SG Special was first introduced in 1961, marking the shift from the Les Paul body style to Gibson’s now-iconic SG shape. Retaining the twin P-90 “soapbar” pickups and wraparound bridge of the earlier Les Paul Special, it offered a stripped-back, no-nonsense design that quickly earned its own following. What began as a more affordable alternative to the SG Standard soon found favour with professional players, thanks to the distinctive punch and clarity of the P-90s combined with the resonance of a solid mahogany body. The striking TV Yellow finish together with the bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and vintage-style tuners give this SG Special its understated yet unmistakably classic look.

The guitar is in A1 condition and comes with the original case and paperwork.
