A faithful recreation of a rare moment in Gibson history, this Custom Shop ’62 Les Paul SG Standard features the distinctive pearl-inlaid Ebony Block Maestro Vibrola — a detail unique to that single production year, before the model dropped the Les Paul name. Built with a mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard and comfortable 60s Slim Taper profile, it’s fitted with a pair of unpotted Custombuckers for an open, vintage-correct tone. Period-accurate touches include the hot-stamped “Les Paul” truss rod cover and Kluson Single Line, Double Ring tuners. Finished in classic Cherry and lightly aged in Gibson’s Murphy Lab, this guitar captures the look, feel and sound of a well-kept original.
The guitar is in A1 condition and comes with the original case and paperwork.
