Description
We’re excited to bring you the Dakota Standard from Ivison Guitars in a classic Aged Polaris White finish – this has become one of the most popular finishes in the Dakota line-up, with this example featuring the Ivison Heavy Aged treatment providing authentic looking play wear, discolouration and lacquer checking This guitar features the super sweet Ivison Freebird set, vintage-inspired pickups, modelled on a stunning sounding mid 60’s set of mini humbuckers. A unique design in it’s own right, the Freebird sounds closer to a single coil than a full fat humbucker, with a tight bass response, less growl than a standard mini humbucker but more spank and clarity in the top end. Ivison wind them 100% true to vintage specs; 42 AWG plain enamel wire, maple spacers and nylon bobbins.
Comes with a Hiscox hardcase and certificate of authenticity.
