Taking its inspiration from those PAF laden futuristic shaped korina guitars that famously emerged from Kalamazoo in 1958, the Korina Dakota Standard from Ivison Guitars delivers the same cool vibes in a more ergonomic single cut package. This example is a joy to play, very lightweight (less than 7lbs) with all the mid/high tone punch synonymous with korina, brought to life by a set of super-sweet sounding Ivison ’57 Spec PAF humbuckers. In a twist from the usual specification of this model, this example features a bound fretboard and a 60s carve neck profile, slightly slimmer than the usual ’59 Ivison carve.
Comes with a Hiscox hardcase and certificate of authenticity.
