Patrick James Eggle Macon Mastergrade Quilted Carved Top 2022

Superb UK-built single-cut from Patrick James Eggle, finished in a beautifully judged classic Faded Gold Burst gloss that really shows off the spectacular Mastergrade tubular quilted maple top. The Macon Carved Top takes a familiar vintage-inspired recipe and refines it in typical Eggle fashion, with a highly playable carved body, comfortable neck heel and the sort of build quality that makes the guitar feel immediately professional in the hands.

This 2022 example keeps things firmly in classic rock and blues territory, with a set of Mojo PAF humbuckers delivering that open, articulate, old-school humbucker voice — sweet and woody at the neck, punchy and expressive at the bridge. The roasted maple neck adds stability and a lovely played-in feel. The guitar weighs a very comfortable 7lb 12oz.

The condition is excellent throughout. The original “grey tweed” hardcase and certificate of authenticity are included.
