PRS Swamp Ash Special 2011

The PRS Swamp Ash Special has always occupied a slightly different corner of the PRS catalogue. It blends the snap and immediacy of a great bolt-on guitar with the refinement and versatility that has always set Maryland-built PRS instruments apart.

This 2011 example comes from the short-lived reintroduction of the model and features three PRS 57/08 Narrowfield pickups. These unique humbuckers capture much of the focus and articulation of a single coil while remaining completely hum-free, giving the Swamp Ash Special an exceptionally broad tonal range.

Finished in Vintage Cherry with gold hardware, this guitar is in remarkable condition. Having seen very little playing time since new, it remains all original and is presented in mint condition. It comes complete with its original PRS hard case, hang tags and paperwork.

At just 7lbs 1oz (3.21kg) it’s wonderfully lightweight and resonant, while the Pattern Regular neck profile strikes an ideal balance between vintage comfort and modern playability.
