Fidelity Stellarosa Deluxe Aged Olympic White

The Stellarosa Deluxe sits proudly at the top of the Fidelity Guitars range. Designed and built in the UK by Matt Oram, it takes inspiration from the long-lost Stella Japonica — retaining the spirit and silhouette of a classic catalogue guitar, while elevating every aspect with modern materials, bespoke hardware, and an unusually deep approach to tone shaping.

This super cool example features a chambered roasted ash body finished in classic Olympic White and framed by natural sides. Medium ageing gives this Stellarosa a beautifully played in vibe. Tortoiseshell celluloid binding front and back, paired with a long split tortoiseshell pickguard, completes a look that feels both familiar and timeless.

At the heart of the Stellarosa Deluxe is its unique and highly musical electronics layout. Three Mojo Pickups P90-sized Charlie Christian pickups deliver a sweet, open voice with exceptional clarity and response. The switching system comprises a traditional 3-way toggle which selects bridge and neck combinations, while a separate 4-way rotary switch brings the middle pickup in and out in musically useful ways. The result is a broad tone palette that moves effortlessly from articulate cleans to rich and satisfying drive.

The roasted maple neck and fretboard is finished in oil for a natural, broken-in feel straight out of the case. A medium/chunky “C” profile neck gives the guitar a solid resonant feel,  while the 25″ scale length, and compound 9.5″–14″ radius strike a superb balance between comfort and control. This all works really nicely with the vintage feel 42.1mm nut width on this guitar. Jescar medium-jumbo frets, clay “sharktooth” markers, and Gotoh hardware throughout underline the no-compromise approach.

A Descendant vibrato with a custom steel top plate and hand-turned tortoiseshell tip adds expressive capability without sacrificing stability, anchored by Fidelity’s own billet aluminium bridge with adjustable brass saddles.

Comes with a premium padded BOSS gig bag and set up with Stringjoy Signature 10–48s.
