Aged Tobacco Burst is one of the most popular finishes for the Ivison Guitars Dakota Standard, evoking the iconic Kalamazoo guitars that inspired it. This Dakota Standard is loaded with Ivison in-house manufactured pickups – a development that allows the Ivison Guitars team to tune the pickups specifically to suit the guitar. This guitar features the super sweet Ivison Freebird set, Firebird-inspired pickups, modelled on a classic sounding mid 60’s set of mini humbuckers. A unique design in it’s own right, the Freebird sounds closer to a single coil than a full fat humbucker, with a tight bass response, less growl than a standard mini humbucker but more spank and clarity in the top end. Ivison wind them 100% true to vintage specs; 42 AWG plain enamel wire, maple spacers and nylon bobbins. The understated Ivison ageing of the classic Tobacco Burst finish gives the guitar an authentic played in feel, adding to the vintage vibe of the guitar.

Comes with a Hiscox hardcase and certificate of authenticity.
