Description
Inspired by those futuristic korina-bodied, PAF-equipped classics that first emerged from Kalamazoo in 1958, the Ivison Korina Dakota Standard captures all of that late-50s attitude and resonance in a beautifully balanced single cut design. Exceptionally lightweight at exactly 7lb, this example has the lively, immediate response that makes a great korina guitar feel so addictive in the hands — open, resonant and full of rich upper-mid character.
Built to the traditional Dakota Standard specification, this one features Neil’s comfortable ’59 carve neck profile and unbound fretboard, giving it an unmistakably authentic vintage feel. Paired with Ivison’s superb ’57 Spec PAF humbuckers, the result is a guitar that effortlessly covers everything from articulate clean tones to thick, harmonically rich overdrive, all with the dynamic response and touch sensitivity that boutique vintage-inspired instruments should deliver.
Comes with a Hiscox hardcase and certificate of authenticity.
